May 1 – 10 and August 28 – September 6, 2010
After arrival in Cusco and 2 days adjusting to the altitude, we set out for Q´ero, traveling by bus through Paucartambo and Kallaqancha to Q´olpa, where we camp overnight. The remaining days include Chua-Chua, Hatun Q´ero, the ancient sacred center of the Inca descendants, Huella de Inkarri, the footprint of the ancient wanderer, and Cochamoco.
After returning to Cusco and enjoying a free day in the city, the bus awaits the following morning for the short trip to the Cusco airport, and from there to Lima and home.
Q´ero masters will accompany the group, leading ceremonies and practicing individual healing sessions with participants, as desired.
Each day, participants have the opportunity to take part in an early morning yoga session and an afternoon meditation with Yoga Master Lucio Ali.
EXPEDITIONS III & IV:
AUSANGATE - THE HOLY MOUNTAIN OF THE INCAS
WITH JUAN MURILLO
Assisted by Yoga Master Lucio Ali
May 15 – 24 y August 14 - 23, 2010
The most famous Mountain Spirit of the Incas, Apu Ausangate, is where our friend and teacher, Don Mariano Turpo, lived and worked for over 30 years. He left behind his stories, his wisdom and his healing rituals which we will share with you.
The program begins in Cusco where we spend the first 2 days getting adjusted to the altitude and visiting a few of the sacred sites surrounding the city. On the third day we set out for the Mountain, riding to Alqaqocha, the Rainbow Lagoon, where we spend 3 nights. Yoga and meditation classes with Lucio Ali are available each morning and afternoon. Returning by way of Azulqocha, the Blue Lagoon, we arrive in Cusco at night. The next day is free to rest, and the following morning our bus takes us to the airport for the short flight to Lima, with a later connection to our home destinations.
A Q´ero master and Don Mariano Turpo´s grandsons will accompany the group and assist with performing rituals and healing sessions.
Yoga Master Lucio Ali is Director of the Center of Aquarian Culture in Cusco and President of the Environmental Education / Human and Transcendental Development Ashram, Sacred Valley of the Incas.
